Oh, yes yes yes! So shameful, but that movie was a staple in my boarding school commonroom. I think I could recite the whole script. Could definitely sing every song on the soundtrack, even the crap ones. We wanted to have Cat's hair, and Heath Ledger should come and buy *us* guitars! And Bianca beating up Joey to defend Cameron's honour at the end was the! Best! Thing! Ever!
*happy nostalgic sigh* And it's odd, because the Taming of the Shrew, which it was based on, is really an awful play, with some of the dodgiest gender politics you'll find anywhere, and somehow they took that plot, and didn't mess with it much at all, and got a perfectly acceptable 90s teen movie out of it. Huh.

It's interesting, because Taming of the Shrew was the first thing I thought when I saw that movie.

I think one of the greatest moments of all, well, accept for of course, when Joey gets beaten up, is when Mr. Morgan rapps the sonnit. That's so cool!

I love this movie. I don't know why, i just enjoy watching it for some reason. It was a great movie. The story was pretty good.
